Job description
The Clark County Juvenile Justice Department is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Juvenile Detention Assistant position. This position is responsible for providing safety, security, sight and sound supervision for juveniles in an institutional setting; conduct perimeter checks around the buildings and grounds; and intaking new juveniles and writing reports.
The ideal candidate will be available to work nights and weekends and be proficient in defensive tactics. THIS POSITION REQUIRES THAT YOU MUST BE AT LEAST TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT.
