This role involves machining metallic and non-metallic parts while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in a clean, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Set up fixtures in both manual and CNC machines Operate manual and CNC machines including lathes and milling machines Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications Select tooling and determine feeds, speeds, and depth of cut Secure tooling and position workpieces in appropriate holding devices Load and run CNC programs Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges Inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances Complete required production and inspection documentation Maintain quality standards and support efficient production processes Qualifications 2–8 years of machining experience required Experience with manual and CNC machine operation Basic computer skills Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Good vision for inspection and computer-based tasks Work Environment Clean, well-lit, air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
