Senior Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager position is responsible to lead projects and associated team members to successfully execute projects according to the ISG Projects Implementation Procedure and all ISO 9001 procedures. In addition, the Project Manager will work closely with the Sales Manager and/or Area Account Manager to provide project estimates and sales support of key account that are critical to our business.

This position will also provide the needed experience for advancing to a Project Manager II.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Project managers will work in accordance with our ISG Projects Implementation and ISO 9001 procedures. Ability to manage projects with minimal assistance from the Integration Manager. Interacts with customers to meet or exceed the needs of the active projects by directing the project managers. Regularly interacts with sales and area manager to assist with the development of sales proposals and pursuits for all customers.

Ability to work as a functioning team member to support large projects. Possesses the ability to understand all technical aspects of the project. Possesses the ability to manage customer support issues as they arise to ensure overall success of the project and ensure long term retention of the key account base and look for opportunities for additional sales and services ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure Create project plans, including deliverables, activities, timeliness and budgets Direct day-to-day activities of projects and staff in matrixed organization Ensure milestones are successfully met through oversight of project activities and coordination of resources Work collaboratively with Engineering, Shop, and Sales groups impacting project.

Lead communication with stakeholders and team members through completion of the project Provide scheduled and on-demand status reports and updates Direct project timelines and budgets EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 20+ years automation industry, marketing and management experience or 15+ years of project management experience and PMP certification.

BS Degree required and/or equivalent related training. BS Engineering Degree preferred PE Certification is a plus Experience across at least two of the following platforms: Siemens PCS7 and/or Step 7 Rockwell Controllogix, PlantPAx, and Factory Talk Emerson DeltaV Yokogawa Centum Honeywell Experion REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Ensures Accountability: Accountable and takes personal responsibility for actions, decisions, failures and mistakes.

Detailed knowledge of Net. Suite ERP system is a plus. PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Excellent PC skill level including advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to speak publicly Ability to drive a car and visit manufacturing facilities as needed..
