Poker Dealer

Shift: Varied Day Off: Varied $10.00/hour Get paid when you need it – daily, weekly or biweekly! ($39.00-$41.00/hour including tips) **tips are not guaranteed You will be responsible for: Responsible for the accurate, proficient and professional manner in dealing a specific table game ensuring compliance with Prairie Meadows' objectives, policies, procedures and gaming regulations.

Provides prompt, accurate and courteous service to players, utilizing the highest degree of technical skill in dealing the game while adhering to established policies and procedures. Maintains a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor while supporting a pleasant entertainment experience for all guests. Processes all cash and maintains proper handling and accounting for assigned property items.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. Demonstrated proficiency in dealing one or more games, acquired through training or experience. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Requires finger dexterity to be able to shuffle and deal cards. Ability to identify cards and pay/collect bets.

Ability to stand and walk for an entire eight hour shift. Work environment is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise and smoke; the severity of which depends upon customer volume. Must be able to distinguish various colors. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. Must be able to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.

Note: Must attend poker school and pass an audition before a job offer will be extended.
