About our opportunity: The City of Asheville is seeking candidates for the Water Department working in the role of Meter Technician. A Meter Technician performs technical and mechanical work functions associated with installation, repair and maintenance of water meters and related equipment. Full-time, 40 hours per week plus overtime including nights and weekends in all types of weather.
Regularly scheduled hours are Monday- Friday; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with one-week rotating on-call schedule.
