• Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week travel assignment i n Glens Falls, NY. Contract Details Nights, 12 hr, 36 hours scheduled 24 GWW Start Date: 12/14/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Glens Falls, NY Hourly Pay: 28.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $1008.00 Weekly Total Pay: $ 1764.00 Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd Weekend Vaccine Requirement: COVID vaccinations strongly encouraged, but not required. Please note status in profile. EMR: MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE! Traveler Policy: Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement. Unit Details: Consist of mainly tele/cardiac patients # of Beds in unit: 16 RN to Patient ratio: 4:1 Patient Population: Adult
• Geriatric Dress code: any color scrubs Remote Tele Unit Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs Cancellation policy: Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13 week contract, must give 2 hr notice Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REVIEW COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS NEED WITH YOUR TRAVELER TO ENSURE THEY WILL MEET ALL MEDICAL/VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS BEFORE UPLOAD Key Responsibilities: Using electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance Analyzing EKG results to establish baselines and spot abnormalities Recording EKG results to keep patient information accurate Overseeing stress tests to assess patients’ heart function Delivering emergency medical care when patients suffer heart attacks or other life-threatening problems Overseeing and coordinating the activities of telemetry technicians and other staff in their units Administering medications and other treatments ordered by physicians Educating patients on lifestyle changes and ongoing treatments prior to discharge from the hospital Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer Requirements Minimum Requirements: Must have a minimum 3 years experience Must have Strong proficiency & experience working on Cardiac/Tele, Med-Tele Units Previous/Current travel experience strongly encouraged MUST be able to comfortably follow the Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift Previous travel experience HIGHLY PREFERRED Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit Neuro/stroke experience highly preferred Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills , professionalism, and reliability Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow. Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
