Travel Radiation Therapist

• Oncology (Days) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist
• Oncology for a 13-week travel assignment i n Petoskey, MI. Contract Details Days, 40 hour guarantee
• Shift times - currently M-F 8a-4:30p with possibility of 4/10s Start Date: 12/7/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Petoskey, MI Hourly Pay: $ 47.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $ 2656.00 Travel Policy: Client incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024. Radius Rule: Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler. Dress Code: Scrubs of any color EMR: ARIA Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Perform treatment simulations, fabricates all necessary shielding blocks, and maintain accurate EMR. Prepares equipment for patient treatments performing quality control and assurance tests, ensuring proper infection control techniques, and adheres to optimal radiation safety and protection practices. All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives and standards of client and nationally accepted standards of practice, provisions of quality patient care, environmental safety and inter-disciplinary cooperation. Maintains professional working relationships with medical staff.

Compensation

Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer Requirements Minimum Requirements: Must have a minimum 2 + years of radiation therapist experience Must have ARRT(T) Must have 1 year travel experience required OR work experience (post-graduation) with Varian and ARIA True.

Beam, ARIA, Trilogy experience preferred Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills , professionalism, and reliability Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow.

Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
