Waterpump Helper

Assisted Water Pump Operator in operating, monitoring, and maintaining water pumping systems for drilling operations. Performed hose and pipe connections, equipment inspection, basic maintenance, housekeeping, and rig-up/rig-down activities. Monitored pump pressure and water flow, assisted with troubleshooting, and ensured all activities were carried out in accordance with HSE procedures and company SOPs Assist the Water Pump Operator in operating water pumps to support drilling operations.

Assist with the installation, connection, and removal of hoses, pipes, valves, and fittings in the water pumping system, Ensure a continuous and adequate water supply to locations or equipment as required for operations. Conduct routine inspections of pumps, hoses, valves, pressure gauges, and related equipment. Assist with basic maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubrication, tightening connections, and checking for leaks.

Monitor pump pressure, flow rate, water level, and overall pump condition during operation, and report any abnormal conditions to the Operator or Supervisor. Assist with pump priming, start-up, shutdown, and operation in accordance with instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.

Assist with basic troubleshooting of water pumping system issues and promptly report problems to the Supervisor. Assist the Water Pump Operator and drilling crew with other tasks related to water supply and pumping systems as required by the operation. High school graduate or equivalent. Candidates with relevant experience are preferred.
