Registered Nurse (RN)

Description Position Summary: The registered nurses provides essential services to clients living in the community setting. They provide comprehensive assessment, education, and follow-up to keep them as safe and independent as possible at home. The RN plays in integral role in their overall health and well-being and works collaboratively with other members of the interprofessional team to provide and coordinate direct care for our clients.

Participate in quality assurance, meetings, and in-service education as outlined in policies. Work within the scope of policies and procedures established by the organization as well as other professional and regulatory standards. Openings For: Full-Time Location: Houlton, Maine Requirements Graduate of an approved nursing program with a valid Maine State license in good standing.

Has ability to relate well with the public, colleagues and other professional agencies. Able to work alone in home situations, use good judgements and demonstrate decision making skills in critical or emergency situations. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client's homes on assignments. Vehicle must be insured as per policy.
