Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed LPN under BCCNM follow LPN scope of practice Assess residents' health status and monitor changes in condition. Provide nursing care according to individualized care plans. Assist residents with activities of daily living as required. Promote residents' dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence. Monitor vital signs and report abnormal findings.

Current LPN registration and licensure in British Columbia. Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program. Current CPR certification as required by the employer. Knowledge of geriatric nursing and dementia care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of medication administration, wound care, and infection control.
