Systems Engineer

Job Summary

SEACORP's Training Systems Business Area is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in Guam. The Systems Engineer is responsible for updating and maintaining computer systems and networks with software and security patches and evaluating application impact. The target systems include Linux Red Hat/CentOS and Windows systems hosted within Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) environment.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain the network architecture including Cisco Virtual Lans. Automate the process to patch client machines after evaluating and testing the impact of security patches. Identify hardware and software faults and develop corrections. Provide work-arounds to problems encountered such that the training exercise may continue and will perform preventative maintenance to reduce the number of faults encountered.
