Quality Assurance Officer- Procurement

Quality Assurance Officer Department: Procurement Department Reporting To: Group Head Administration and Procurement Location: Kharian Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Officer to inspect and verify delivered goods, construction materials, and equipment against approved purchase orders. The role ensures that the quality, specifications, condition, and quantities of delivered items meet approved requirements before acceptance and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect delivered materials and goods against approved purchase orders, specifications, quality standards, and quantities. Verify construction material quantities, including sand and aggregate measurements (CFT), in coordination with the Civil Department and Quantity Surveyor. Coordinate with relevant departments to verify technical specifications and acceptance of specialised goods and equipment.

Ensure Inward Gate Passes are recorded and Goods Received Notes (GRNs) are accurately prepared with specific material descriptions and verified quantities. Identify, document, and report rejected, damaged, short, or non-compliant deliveries to the Procurement Officer. Maintain delivery inspection and quantity verification records to support three-way matching and payment clearance.

Conduct delivery-by-delivery verification for contract-based monthly supplies. Maintain complete inspection records within the relevant entity and site procurement files. Travel to assigned sites and delivery locations as required.

Qualifications

& Experience 2–4 years of relevant experience in site QA/QC, materials inspection, or stores inspection. Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, quality standards, and quantity measurement techniques. Ability to inspect goods against purchase orders and maintain accurate GRN and inspection records. Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation systems.

Strong attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills. Willingness to travel between project sites and delivery locations.
