Senior Staff Accountant

Description of the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our team at Lucky's Trailer Sales / Dimmick Group Peterbilt. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. This position requires experience with CDK accounting software and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

Manage the general ledger and prepare accurate financial statements Reconcile accounts and ensure financial accuracy and integrity Prepare and analyze financial reports on a regular basis Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support Train and mentor junior accounting staff Requirements: Associate's degree in accounting or related field Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant Multi State/Company Sales Tax Experience FET Experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations Proficient in using CDK accounting software Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Effective communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional development and advancement
