Burns Honda - Used Car Reconditioning Department Full-Time Automotive Technician

Burns Honda is looking for experienced, fast-paced Automotive Techniciansto join our growingUsed Car Reconditioning Department.

Our Recon Department works on all makes and models, so we are looking for technicians who are comfortable diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning a wide variety of vehicles. This is a high-volume environment where efficiency, quality, and the ability to keep vehicles moving are essential.

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Every Other Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM When scheduled to work Saturday, you will receive a day off during the week.

Compensation : $30+ per hour

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive technician experience

• Ability to work on all makes and models

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Experience with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning preferred

• Ability to identify needed mechanical and safety repairs

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently while also contributing to the team

• Dependable attendance and professional work habits

• Commitment to completing repairs correctly and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning

• Diagnose and repair mechanical concerns

• Perform brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance, fluid services, and general mechanical repairs

• Identify safety and mechanical concerns during inspection

• Complete repairs efficiently to help maintain Used Car Department inventory flow

• Maintain accurate repair documentation

• Communicate additional repair needs to management

• Maintain a clean and organized work area
