Medical Assistant/Correctional Health Technician | Maricopa County, AZ Openings: Day Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week Night Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week Minimum 13-week commitment Jail/Clinic: To Be Determined (TBD) Requirements: High school diploma or GED Certificate of completion from a MA-accredited Health Care Training Program, as required by Arizona regulations, or applicable exception Current N95 fit testing Current BLS and First Aid Certification from American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum 1 year of experience in this position Key Responsibilities: Provide patient care within the MA scope of practice under medical/nursing supervision Prepare patients for examinations and treatment; obtain patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints Perform office procedures, tests, examinations, venipuncture, injections, immunizations, and TB skin testing as required Complete accurate documentation in the electronic health record Maintain exam/procedure room supplies Assist with scheduling, filing, scanning, and other administrative duties Use Microsoft Office for documentation, spreadsheets, email, and scheduling Saratoga Medical Center, Inc.
