Food Service Supervisor
$36,670
Job description
Are you passionate about food service, leadership, and helping others succeed? CPARC is looking for a motivated and dependable Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our PCIT kitchen and catering business. This is a rewarding opportunity to combine your food service experience with your passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they learn valuable job skills, build confidence, and work toward greater independence.
You will help lead daily kitchen operations, coordinate catering services, and provide hands-on training and supervision to individuals participating in our Food Service Program. If you enjoy working in a team environment, providing excellent customer service, and making a positive impact in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply!
What You'll Do
As our Food Service Supervisor, you will supervise, train, and evaluate program trainees while helping them develop workplace skills and achieve their individual goals. You will maintain daily work, attendance, and goal-monitoring records and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team by participating in case conferences and providing input on individual support plans. You will coordinate the preparation and completion of catering orders and in-house lunches, assist customers with catering arrangements, and help manage food and supply orders, weekly inventory, and cash register operations.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of two years of food service experience. Specialized training in food service is highly preferred. Candidates must possess and maintain a valid Pennsylvania driver's license, comply with CPARC's Driving Policy, and be willing and able to operate an automatic-transmission delivery van. The ability to regularly lift and carry 30-35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds is required.
Our Generous Benefits Package
At CPARC, we value our employees and the important work they do. Our benefits package includes:
Starting pay of $17.63 per hour
Health, dental, and vision insurance
Three weeks of paid vacation during your first year of employment
Life insurance
Long-term disability insurance
Retirement benefits
Why Join CPARC?
At CPARC, you'll have the opportunity to do more than manage a kitchen. You'll help individuals develop meaningful skills, gain valuable work experience, and reach their personal goals while contributing to a successful food service and catering operation.
