Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working alongside the Senior Leadership Team, you will bring acquired businesses onto ASD's culture, systems, brand, and back office while keeping customers served and key people engaged. ASD has completed four successful integrations under our current leadership team, and we are ready to accelerate.
We are deliberate about who we acquire, partnering only with companies whose culture aligns with ours. This role will help us grow faster while strengthening the culture that makes ASD who we are. Our team has developed an integration playbook. You will take that playbook, optimize it based on what we learn from each acquisition, and make it a repeatable process that ASD can run with every deal.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Leadership & Planning Lead each integration from pre-close planning through Day 1, the first 100 days, and full completion. Build integration plans with clear milestones, owners, budgets, and success measures; report progress to the Senior Leadership Team. Join due diligence to flag integration risks, costs, and synergy opportunities before a deal closes.
Coordinate closely with ASD's internal stakeholders, who are part of our integration team: HR Director, Technology Transformation Lead, Systems Director, IT Director, Senior VP of Operations, and FP&A Manager as well as others. Culture & People Serve as ASD's point of contact at acquired companies: explain the why, answer questions, and build trust with new teams.
Carry out the culture integration plan developed with HR, and report back on morale, fit and emerging people risks. Flag key employees and relationships at risk, and work with HR and sales on retention. Coordinate with HR on the timing and rollout of role, pay, benefits and policy changes. Systems & Operations Move acquired companies onto ASD's Service.
Now, project management, field service, and IT platforms. Standardize processes for project delivery, field services, safety, and quality. Keep service levels steady for customers during every transition. Marketing & Brand Lead rebranding and customer communications with the marketing team: websites, vehicles, signage, uniforms, and collateral.
Plan announcements to customers, partners, and the market. Back Office Integrate finance and accounting, payroll, purchasing, contracts, insurance, licensing, and vendor relationships. Track synergies (cost and revenue) against the deal model and report results. Building the Integration Capability Optimize ASD's existing integration playbook, checklists, and templates after each deal so the process is repeatable.
Capture lessons learned and apply them to the next acquisition. Recruit and develop integration team members as deal volume grows. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience, including leading teams through change and running complex, multi-workstream efforts with firm deadlines.
Knowledge: Working knowledge of business systems (Service. Now, project management tools) and core back-office functions. Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred. Driving Record: Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Work Environment: Ability to travel up to 50%, including extended stays at acquired company sites.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities. Must be in full compliance with company and customer safety programs.
