Substitute Custodian

Kankakee School District 111 is seeking candidates interested in serving in the position(s) of Substitute Custodian. Substitute Custodians are non-permanent positions subject to assignment on an as-needed basis, with reassignment based on performance and needs of the School District. Ideal candidates must be willing to work flexible hours/shifts for short- and long-term assignments; and, possess: Good communication and interpersonal skills Custodian and/or facilities experience in a school environment Good client/customer service skills and exemplary work ethic Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to prioritize multiple tasks Ability to work effectively with a team Ability to work independently as needed Basic knowledge of cleaning products Ability to be able to lift 35 lbs.
