As an ETL Tester, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data moving through Azure-based ETL pipelines. You will work closely with Data Architects, ETL Developers, Engineers, and Business Analysts to validate data transformations and integrations.

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL pipelines. Test ETL processes across Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake. Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation. Use SQL extensively to verify data accuracy and completeness. Identify, track, and document defects using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Prepare and manage test data, including masking and anonymization. Set up and maintain Azure test environments. Support improvements to ETL testing frameworks and automation. Work closely with Data Architects, ETL Developers, Engineers, and Business Analysts. Mentor junior testers and contribute to testing best practices.

4+ years of ETL testing experience. Strong hands-on SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation. Strong knowledge of the Azure Data Platform. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake. Experience in ETL/data warehouse testing, especially source-to-target validation. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, test management, and CI/CD integration. Understanding of test automation. Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or equivalent. Fluent written and spoken English. ISTQB Foundation Level certification or willingness to obtain it is preferred.
