Temporary Certificated IMPACT Program Support Supervisor, Teachers College of San Joaquin, Professional Learning and Support

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent of Professional Learning and Support and the Division Director/President of Teachers College of San Joaquin, the IMPACT Support Supervisor is responsible for all phases of supervision of candidates, and for covering all Student Learning Outcomes identified within the course.

The supervisor works one-on-one with the candidate to evaluate and support growth as she/he learns to manage all responsibilities required of a teacher (or administrator) of record. During classroom visits both in-person and virtual, the supervisor works one-on-one with the candidate to evaluate and support growth as she/he learns to manage all responsibilities required of a teacher (or administrator) of record.

IMPACT Support Supervisors are required to attend program trainings and meetings to stay apprised of TCSJ policies and procedures.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Possess a valid California Teaching Credential. Teachers College of San Joaquin accepts applications for part-time positions on a continuous basis. Although the position is posted year-round, it does not imply there are immediate openings.
