Pediatric Medical Assistant

Pro. Health Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Pediatric Medical Assistant, in the city of Los Alamitos, CA.

Job Type: Full-time, DIRECT HIRE Pay: $23-25 per hour Hours: (30 hrs per week) Job Duties: Greet pediatric patients and their parents or guardians and verify patient information Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in and check-out Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, height, weight, and blood pressure Assist providers during pediatric examinations, treatments, and minor procedures Perform routine clinical tests and screenings Obtain and update patient medical histories, allergies, and medication lists Monitor and maintain immunization records and assist with vaccine documentation Administer vaccines and draw blood as directed by the provider Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulation Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to infants, children, and adolescents Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and assist with patient follow-up Qualifications and Skills: Bilingual Spanish (required).

At least 1–2-year hands-on experience working as a Pediatric Medical Assistant (required). Experience with Drawing Blood and administering vaccines to children (required). CPR Certified 10.8 DH Pro. Health Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
