The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for members and guests by ensuring all facilities remain clean, sanitized, and well-stocked throughout the day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers, fitness areas, pool decks, and common areas. Maintain cleanliness of fitness equipment, and recreational spaces. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners as needed. Restock supplies including towels, soap, paper products, and cleaning materials. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform general housekeeping duties throughout the facility.

Monitor facility conditions and promptly address spills, hazards, and cleanliness concerns. Maintain pool deck cleanliness and assist in keeping outdoor areas presentable. Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to management. Follow all company safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines.

Provide courteous and professional service to members, guests, and staff. Assist with special cleaning projects and facility events as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping, custodial, hotel, fitness center, or recreational facility cleaning experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with members and guests.

Reliable attendance and punctuality required. Must be able to communicate in English. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including poolside conditions.
