Probate Officer II

This is advanced and high specialized and technical case processing work. Work involves administering statutory procedures and court rules for the probating of estates, and requires the ability to perform independently and exercise sound judgment and initiative within procedural and statutory guidelines. Work differs from Probate Officer I by degree of independence and responsibility exercised in performing functions, and may include or require the ability to perform lower level clerical duties.

This employee is under the general supervision of the Court Clerk Supervisor of the Probate Division, and work is reviewed through conferences, reports, and on the basis of results obtained.
