Janitor

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial / Facilities Custodian to support cleanliness and overall upkeep within a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment for production and office areas. Candidates should be team-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.

What you'll do

Performs general cleaning and dusting in all areas of the building. Maintains floors and shredding paper. Maintains and fills all soap dispensers and towel dispensers in rest rooms, as required. Removes trash from offices throughout the buildings on a routine basis. Cleans all bathrooms, as required. Generally superviand maintains grounds.

Performs other related duties as required. Maintain clean, orderly, and safe shop, production, warehouse, and common areas.

Qualifications

Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 pm. Must be able to meet physical requirements: standing, twisting, walking, grasping, pushing, pulling, and ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs. Minimum of one year of janitorial work experience. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and ability to operate cleaning machinery.

Manufactuiring facilities or maintenance experience preferred.
