Job description
We are seeking diligent and experienced Shift Supervisors to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in our establishment. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail. The Shift Supervisors will be responsible for opening and closing, overseeing the staff, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing efficiency to enhance the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure that all guests are greeted warmly, seated promptly, and provided with menus and utensils. Oversee the reservation system, confirming bookings, managing waitlists, and accommodating special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and fixtures.
Mentor, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold brand standards. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest. 7. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures regarding employee conduct, safety, and sanitation. Assist with special events Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to meet the demands of the business .
Requirements
Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, sanitation, and safety standards. Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced environments, while prioritizing tasks effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software. Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g., Serv. Safe) is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
