Community Relations Assistant
Job description
Community Relations Assistant (Full-Time) Grand Rapids, MI Emmanuel Hospice is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Community Relations Assistant to support fundraising, donor relations, volunteer services, bereavement programs, marketing, and community outreach efforts.

Assist with donor recognition, communications, and stewardship activities. Coordinate fundraising events, volunteer recruitment efforts, community outreach programs, and bereavement events. Manage marketing materials, website updates, and promotional inventory. Support volunteer onboarding, training, and documentation requirements.
Assist with program reporting, compliance tracking, and Patient Wish Program initiatives.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2-3 years of administrative, nonprofit, fundraising, marketing, or community relations experience. Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, volunteer management software, or EMR systems. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to handle confidential information.
