Your Impact As Retail Branch Manager, you'll lead the overall success of the Minot AFB Branch, including team development, member experience, lending growth, operational excellence, and community involvement. You'll empower your team, identify opportunities for growth, and help meet the unique financial needs of military members, their families, and the surrounding community.

What You'll Do

Lead & Develop Your Team Coach, mentor, and empower employees to succeed Foster a positive, accountable, member-focused culture Support employee growth and development Drive Results Lead branch performance in lending, member service, new accounts, and relationships Translate organizational goals into branch action plans Monitor results and identify opportunities for improvement Strengthen Lending Identify lending opportunities and support meaningful financial conversations Underwrite and approve loans within assigned authority Help members find solutions that support their financial goals Build Relationships & Community Presence Develop strong relationships with members and community partners Represent North Star within the Minot AFB community Strengthen member loyalty through exceptional service Ensure Operational Excellence Maintain compliance, security, and strong internal controls Oversee staffing, scheduling, reporting, and daily branch operations Solve challenges with ownership, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused mindset What Success Looks Like Employees are engaged, growing, and supported through strong leadership Members receive knowledgeable, relationship-focused service Lending and member relationships continue to grow Branch goals are actively managed and achieved New ideas are encouraged and implemented Operations remain compliant, secure, and efficient North Star maintains a strong presence within the Minot AFB community What You Bring Experience & Education 3-5 years of leadership experience in banking, credit union, or financial services Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Leadership Skills Strong coaching and team-development abilities Strategic thinking and goal execution Ownership, accountability, and results-driven leadership Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and exceptional member service Certifications & Requirements NMLS registration within 2 months of hire FiCEP certification within 6 months of hire Insurance License within 9 months of hire Why North Star?
