1st Shift Finishing Team Member

More information is available on our website https://www.sswtechnologies.com/ The 1st Shift Finishing T eam Member will be responsible for helping prepare products for shipment by hanging the parts onto an overhead conveyor, flipping the parts to prepare them for touch up paint if needed.

Key Responsibilities

Follows safety procedures as instructed. Reports any unsafe conditions to the Company. Follows work instructions, quality procedures, and work standards. Interact in a professional manner with other employees. Participates with work teams as needed. Works overtime as necessary. Required to keep up at a reasonable pace with the production lines.

Understanding or ability to learn SAP to scan products. Moves, manipulates, modifies and / or assembles the materials to produce subassemblies or finished product from raw materials. Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages as needed. Track production on digital boards/paperwork. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.

Uses manual tools as instructed to perform work. Notify supervisor of any material issues. Place finished goods in designated containers per packing standards if needed. Ensure that the pieces produced meet quality specifications by using gauges or other methods called out in the work instructions. Maintains a clean and safe work area per area 5S procedures.

Qualifications, Experience requirements: Basic math skills Work safely and champion co-workers to do the same Experience is not required In case of experience - in a Metal Manufacturing companies preferred. General requirements: Availability to go to the division from Monday to Friday Detailed and hands-on oriented.

Working Conditions: Frequently standing, walking, talking, lifting, carrying, reaching, and working in areas that are not climate controlled for long periods . Manufacturing plant environment.
