Service Assistant Manager

Automotive Franchised dealership experience is essential for this role. Applications without relevant automotive experience will not be considered. Backed by one of Australia’s largest automotive groups, Eagers Automotive, we are looking for a driven and people-focused Assistant Service Manager to lead the front and back counter operations within our KIA and Hyundai Nundah service department.

As part of a new structure, this role sits within the leadership team and is front of house oriented to create better booking / reception clarity, stronger frontline support and improved communication and outcomes through the service operation. WHATS ON OFFER: Very competitive base salary with a strong commission and bonus structure No weekend work Laptop with remote access Company car included Clear leadership structure with strong support Onsite dealer meetings with your brand representatives to support development and drive results Career progression available across the Norris Motor Group Hub and Eagers Automotive Established team in a busy Metropolitan environment The role: Lead and manage the front counter, Warranty and Reception operation Drive customer experience and NPS/CSI performance Oversee daily bookings, customer flow and driveway operations Champion the Express Service Operation maximising efficiency Support advisor performance, structure and consistency in process Handle escalations and ensure professional, timely resolutions Work closely with workshop control, parts and management teams Manage your own customer base, handling around 10 vehicles per day What we’re looking for: 5 Years minimum Franchise Dealership experience in an automotive Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager role is essential Strong understanding of dealership front counter operations and customer handling A developing leader who can bring structure, accountability and consistency Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Customer-focused with the ability to influence survey outcomes Organised and comfortable in a fast-paced environment This is a leadership role focused on people, process and customer experience, while remaining hands-on with your own customers.
