Storage & Backup Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Storage & Backup Engineer based in Netherlands. We are looking for an experienced Storage & Backup Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level storage and data protection infrastructure.

You will oversee critical storage systems, backup platforms, and recovery solutions in complex, heterogeneous IT environments. The role combines architecture, engineering, hands-on administration, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and highly available. You will contribute to infrastructure projects, technology migrations, capacity planning, and service improvements while supporting demanding operational requirements.

Working alongside infrastructure teams and technical stakeholders, you will help strengthen disaster recovery capabilities and optimize day-to-day operations. This is an opportunity to take ownership of critical infrastructure services in an international, remote-friendly environment.
