Dishwasher / Steward Isla Bella Beach Resort | Marathon, FL About the Position Isla Bella Beach Resort is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Dishwasher / Steward to join our Culinary team in Marathon, Florida. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while supporting daily restaurant operations, banquets, weddings, and special events.

The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, works well with others, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dishwashing, and food preparation areas. Sweep, mop, and deep-clean kitchen floors, walls, countertops, and equipment. Clean and sanitize ovens, grills, walk-in refrigerators, and other kitchen equipment.

Properly organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and supplies. Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain clean disposal areas. Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing food and supply deliveries. Restock kitchen and service supplies as needed. Assist with banquet setup and breakdown for weddings, conferences, and special events.

Support the Culinary team with basic food preparation and transporting supplies as assigned. Follow all food safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and workplace safety procedures. Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management.

Qualifications

Previous dishwashing, stewarding, kitchen, or hospitality experience preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail. Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented. Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
