GENERAL PURPOSE Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen in accordance with health and safety standards while ensuring that appropriate levels of equipment are stocked and available for use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. Maintain necessary supply of clean dishes, glassware, silverware, pans, pots, etc. at all times. Stock supplies, such as dishware, glassware, pots, pans, skillets, utensils or food in the designated areas.

Wash all pots, pans, kettles, and skillets as needed. Monitor trash levels and remove when needed. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. Provide assistance to kitchen personnel during set-up and clean-up. Ensure that the restaurant kitchen, banquet kitchen, and the employee cafeteria are clean at all times.

Sweep and mop entire kitchen, dish room, coolers, and employee cafeteria. Ensures that service elevators are kept clean. Use proper cleaning chemicals for all designated items and areas according to OSHA regulations Keep the cooks well stocked with any equipment they may need. Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of the position. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY DUTIES

• No Direct supervision responsibilities JOB QUALIFICATIONS Endure various physical movements; Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Must be able to stand and exert well placed mobility for up to 8 hours. Must be able to kneel, squat, bend, stoop and twist to perform job duties.
