Kellogg School (K�8) � Falls Village Cornwall Consolidated School (K�8) � West Cornwall Kent Center School (PreK�8) � Kent North Canaan Elementary School (PreK�8) � Canaan Salisbury Central School (PreK�8) � Lakeville Sharon Center School (K�8) � Sharon Housatonic Valley Regional High School (9�12) � Falls Village What You'll Do As a Substitute Teacher, you will: Supervise and support students in the absence of their regular teacher; Follow lesson plans and classroom routines provided by the teacher or administrator; Help maintain a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment; Use classroom technology and digital tools as directed; Follow District health, safety, and school procedures; and Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other school staff.

Requirements

Hold a valid Connecticut teaching certificate or possess a Bachelor's Degree (college transcripts required); Successfully complete required criminal background and DCF records checks; Complete required Region One training; and Be dependable, professional, and comfortable working with students. Schedule & Assignments Substitute Teachers work on an as-needed basis during the school year , offering flexibility to choose the days you are available to work.

Assignments are available in our PreK�8 schools and at Housatonic Valley Regional High School. Applicants may indicate their preferred schools during the application process.
