ECVC Senior Associate/Counsel | 6–8 Years | AmLaw 100 Austin | Boston | Boulder | LA | NYC | Palo Alto | Salt Lake City | San Diego | SF | Seattle | Washington, DC Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a senior associate to its Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group. Direct access to founders, boards, and top venture funds. Full lifecycle exposure from first check to exit.
Role Summary
- Run venture financings, including SAFEs and preferred stock rounds.
- Handle corporate governance and general corporate work for high-growth companies.
- Advise on formation, growth, secondaries, and exits.
- Represent both company and investor clients.
- Sector mix includes AI and machine learning, digital health, defense tech, life sciences, gaming, and fintech. Candidate Profile
- 6–8 years of ECVC or private company transactional experience.
- Proven deal management with direct client contact at the executive and board level.
- Comfortable toggling between early-stage company needs and investor priorities.
- Strong drafting, negotiating, and cap table fluency. Why This Role
