Stockroom Associate

PURPOSE OF POSITION : To support the Purchasing Department by incorporating established “Supply Chain Processes” into all areas of purchasing procedures. Assists the Purchasing Supervisor and Inventory Specialist with maintaining stockroom/materials management controls and performs data entry into respective accounting systems.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma or GED. One (1) year relevant experience in a purchasing environment. PC proficiency using accounting/purchasing software and data entry experience. Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word. Basic math skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Effective English, grammar, and writing skills.

Valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance, acceptable to Goodwill’s insurance company. Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
