Licensed Practical Nurse - Sheriff

The purpose of the class is to provide practical nursing care to incarcerated individuals in a correctional environment. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contributes to the nursing process through ongoing data collection, health assessments, documentation, medication administration, patient education, and implementation of physician orders.

Work is performed in a team relationship with a Registered Nurse and under the direct supervision of the Health Services Administrator.
