Medical Laboratory Technician

Performs and reports variety of simple to complex laboratory procedures and tests which involve limited independent judgment and interpretation but which require the use of scientific technique and skills to operate certain sophisticated electronic laboratory equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous Medical Laboratory Technician experience preferred. Associate#s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related scientific field required. Certification as Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) required within one year from hire or placement.
