Parapro-Essential Skills

Job Description: This position is 5.75 hrs/day, 180 days/year. Directly responsible to a classroom teacher and the program supervisor. Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher. Job Requirements: Maintain a positive attitude towards students and the program. Follow the assigned work schedule.

Develop rapport with students. Respect confidentiality and follow safety procedures. Lifting students as demonstrated by teacher and/or therapist. Job Qualifications: 60 college credit hours or Para Pro Certificate. Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law.
