After-School Library Clerk

• Amy Sanders Library Part-time (15 hours/week) The Amy Sanders Library (10200 Johnson Dr., Sherwood, AR 72120) is seeking a customer-service-oriented individual to assist with after-school operations and public service duties.

Essential Duties

Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly library environment during after-school hours. Monitor library spaces and the parking lot to support safety during student dismissal and pickup times. Assist with Be Mighty meal service. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with general questions and directing them to appropriate library resources and services.

Support library staff with other assigned duties.

Qualifications

Ability to interact positively and effectively with children, teens, and the public while enforcing rules of conduct and expectations. Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment. Ability to stand for extended periods; lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; and bend, squat, and reach as needed. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.

m. - 6:00 p.m. during the regular school year. Hours may vary during the summer and other school breaks.

Compensation

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. Application Deadline: Open until filled.
