Senior Accountant

Assist Accounting Manager and Controller with day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, financial reporting, product costing, and results analysis. Assist in monitoring, analyzing, preparing and reporting financial performance. Calculate/file sales and use tax monthly. Assist with month-end/year-end closing entries and reconciliation.

Assist with yearly audit. Assist with general ledger entries, identifying fluctuations and root causes; and reconciling and balancing accounts. Assist with preparation of annual operating plan for operations. Perform additional relevant duties as assigned. Bachelor Degree or equivalent; preferably in Accounting, Finance or other closely related field 4+ years relevant accounting experience; preferably within a similar manufacturing environment Knowledge of accounting/auditing principles and practices Knowledge of fixed assets in a manufacturing setting.

Expert technology and computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
