Pediatric Dental Assistant - Full-Time

Job Description: Mint Dental is looking for a dedicated Full-time Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team.

This role features a dynamic schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in pediatrics, with Thursdays dedicated to our orthodontic department. The successful candidate will support our dentists during clinical procedures, manage instrument sterilization, maintain precise patient records, and provide a welcoming, high-quality experience for our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Ensure the operatory is clean and well-stocked. Take and develop X-rays as needed. Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate patient records. Help manage patient flow and ensure a smooth experience for all patients.

Educate patients and parents about proper oral hygiene practices. Support front office staff when needed.

Qualifications

Dental Assistant certification. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred. Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work well with children and make them feel comfortable. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. CPR certification is a plus.
