Director of Residential Services

Description SUMMARY: The Director of Residential Services oversees substance use disorder (SUD) programs in Gallup, New Mexico. This role is responsible for managing daily operations while fostering a continuous learning environment that emphasizes cultural proficiency.

Requirements

Responsible for operations at Four Corners Detox Recovery in Gallup including but not limited to; client grievances, milieu support, staff and client resources support, leading facility tours, etc. Responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining community relationships through strategic partnerships and outreach efforts.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all substance use disorder service lines in a person-centered, best practice-focused environment consistent with ASAM criteria Assign, Track, and evaluate the work of staff assigned, this will also include coaching and administering corrective action when appropriate. Knowledge of and ability to utilize evidence-based practices and clinical practice guidelines appropriately and ability to guide staff in using these tools.

Ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups representing widely divergent backgrounds, interests, and points of view. Skill in managing and directing the work of others to accomplish program goals and objectives. Ability to translate management goals and objectives into well-coordinated and controlled work operations.

Must develop and maintain the annual budgets as they apply to the SFRC’s services being administered in Gallup at FCDRC. Ability to establish and monitor production and performance priorities and standards. Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and to develop and implement solutions that result in the sound operation of the program.

Participate, coordinate and perform in-service training in areas related to the improvement of service delivery to clients and external?stakeholders Participate in multiple committee efforts Responsible for the regulatory compliance and positive audit results of all service lines reviewed by funders, government regulators, and CARF or other accreditation bodies.

Responsible for regulatory compliance of Grants and Contracted services for the FCRC Ensure the development of program policies and procedures which further the goals and objectives of the agency and the program. Ensure that an environment is created, which is supportive, safe, and appropriately structured for individuals seeking treatment and looking to enter recovery.

Attend to all state licensing guidelines and respond to requests for information Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field of study preferred. At least five (5) years of progressive experience with programming related to services to women, children, and their families.
