E-Commerce Associate Department: Retail Operations Work Location: Canfields - 84th & Center Employment Status: Full-Time Pay Range: $16.50 JOB SUMMARY Work within the E-Commerce team to fulfill production and shipping requirements and satisfy established department objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES Ship and post products on Shop. Goodwill, eBay and Amazon while meeting production quotas Package items for shipment safely and efficiently Assist customers in a courteous, professional and helpful manner Scan and sort books into appropriate categories Accurately describe items listed online with photographs and written descriptions Operate equipment and software in the listing and shipment of product Organize and stock items, maintain inventory counts as needed Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants Performs other duties as assigned INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS Personally participate in ongoing professional growth, education and development as well as supporting others in their efforts to develop.
Adaptable to changes in an evolving work environment. Must demonstrate self-initiative. Must be able to work in a team environment. ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT Demonstrate Goodwill's core values through actions and words. Educate customers and the community about the organization's mission and vision. EDUCATION
AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Ability to type 40-50 wpm preferred. Previous shipping experience preferred. Must have computer skills including knowledge of word processing programs, how to use email and internet software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES General understanding of office equipment.
Dependable and reliable. Able to follow through tasks to completion and meet deadlines. Able to provide accurate information giving careful attention to detail. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Motivated self-starter; willing to take action; show initiative in solving problems. Flexible, demonstrating a positive demeanor and attitude.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Medium Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT High Frequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise fumes, dust, etc.)
