Job description
The Responsible Electrical Person (REP) is accountable for electrical safety and safe systems of work across HKN Syria’s production and gas processing facilities, covering HV and LV systems. The role manages electrical safety rules, the electrical permit-to-work system, electrical isolations and switching, and authorises and supervises competent persons working on electrical systems, while ensuring the reliability and integrity of electrical equipment. The position requires strong electrical engineering fundamentals, in-depth knowledge of HV/LV safety and switching, recognised authorisation as a Responsible/Senior Authorised Person, and the ability to enforce electrical safety standards in a demanding remote field environment.
