Box Office Associate

Are you someone who enjoys helping people? Do you work well as an individual and as part of a team? Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is currently seeking to add a team member to our Box Office. This position may serve as a pathway to a long-term Box Office role. Successful candidates should be interested in developing their skills, taking on additional responsibilities, and growing within the department as opportunities become available.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties: Guest Service: Provide exceptional service to guests both in person and over the phone in a professional, hospitable manner. Ticketing & Sales: Process ticket & gift card orders, payments, and order delivery accurately and efficiently using computer ticketing systems. Communication: Effectively answer guest inquiries and collaborate smoothly across internal theatre departments.

Operational Accuracy: Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest personal and financial information. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced, positive environment. Daily Tasks: Complete daily assigned tasks, follow established procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Training Pay: $16.00/hour; Fully Trained Pay: $18.00/hour Shifts Due to the dynamic nature of theatre operations, candidates must be available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week across our operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Box Office Operating Hours: Monday: 9:45 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday – Saturday: 9:45 AM – 8:00 PM Sunday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Minimum of two years of customer service experience. Strong telephone communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to work at a seated telephone workstation for extended periods, with regular breaks as scheduled.

Ability to touch type accurately while assisting guests by phone and in person. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other computer-based systems. Call center experience is a plus. Familiarity with AudienceView or a cloud-based ticketing system is a plus.
