Construction Working Foreman

GEC Trucking & Construction, Inc. is looking for a construction foreman responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion project(s) in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Work hands-on alongside crew of workers
• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Adhere to the job schedules taking in account forecasting and planning activities
• Proactively requesting materials/equipment for the project
• Delegate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, contractors, and other workers according to priorities and plans
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress to Project Manager and other stakeholders etc.
• Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in the Construction field
• OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid certifications at minimum
• A minimum of 5 years of experience using heavy equipment
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Follow DOT regulations; ensuring proper permits and driving regulations are followed
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
