Social Work Manager

As a member of the Care Coordination administrative team, is responsible for management of the daily operations and supervision of the Social Work staff. Responsible for integrating Social Work services into the Departmental service and the organization’s overall system for intervention re: psychosocial, financial, and behavioral health aspects of care, progression of care, reimbursement of care, discharge planning, and transitions in care.

Manages the operations of the Hospital’s ambulance transportation contract. Key leader in behavioral health and ethical issues. Works directly and collaboratively with the Manager of Care Coordination Nursing to assure excellent level of service and to achieve Departmental goals and objectives.
