CNC Machinist

The Geoprobe® CNC Machinist works with a team to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine while placing a high priority on maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Successful candidates will be team players, mechanical with strong hands-on skills, committed to high-quality work, comfortable working with blueprints, strong in math, and team oriented.

Save time, apply directly at geoprobe.com/join-our-team Job Responsibilities Plans and executes machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, machining parameters and tolerances Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry Sets-up mills and lathes Loads material feeders by lifting stock into position Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards Maintains specifications, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes Maintains safe operations.
