Job Summary

Irvine Chinese Immersion Academy is the first Public Charter School approved by the Irvine Unified School District. We are the only tuition-free Mandarin dual-immersion program that adapts the progressive immersion model in Orange County, California. Our goal is to prepare students to become global citizens through the development of bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural competence.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Required: Valid California Teaching Credential OR Emergency 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit Current Daily Rate - $200/day (over 4 hours) Half Day Rate - $120/day (less than 4 hours) Long Term Rate (goes into effect on the 30th consecutive day in the same assignment): $220/day (full days) $120/day (half days) Student Teachers - you do not need to apply here to be hired as a substitute while student teaching.
