Equipment Operator II - Streets

Performs work requiring operation of motor equipment used in construction and maintenance of roadways and special skills learned on the job.  Does related work as required involving street resurfacing and maintenance; routine work consisting of manual tasks.  Works under the immediate supervision of the Assistant Manager who lays out the details of each specific assignment and constantly checks the work in process and upon completion.

Position reports to the Assistant Manager with review and oversight by the Streets & Grounds Manager.
